How to connect from ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT (web or mobile)
  2. 2Go to Settings → Connected Apps (web) or tap your avatar → Apps (mobile)
  3. 3Search for "Bloom" and tap Connect
  4. 4Sign in with Google — use the same account as your Bloom app
  5. 5Done. Type @Bloom in any conversation.

Common questions

Do I need a Bloom Pro account?

No. The ChatGPT integration works on the free plan, subject to Bloom's free tier task limit (2 active tasks). Pro users have unlimited tasks.

How do I disconnect ChatGPT?

Go to ChatGPT Settings → Connected Apps → find Bloom → Disconnect. Or go to youbloom.app/account/connections → Disconnect.

Will ChatGPT be able to see my personal data?

ChatGPT can only see and manage your Bloom tasks and groups. It cannot access your account settings, payment info, or anything outside of tasks.

How do access tokens work?

ChatGPT receives a temporary access token that expires after 1 hour and is automatically renewed. You can revoke access at any time from your account.

Can I use this with Claude or other AI tools?

Yes. Claude.ai uses the same OAuth connection. VS Code, Cursor, and Claude Desktop use Personal Access Tokens (see "For Developers" above).

Is this free?

Connecting ChatGPT to Bloom is free. Creating and managing tasks is subject to your Bloom plan limits (free tier: 2 active tasks; Pro: unlimited).
